Great fit, sound, NC and price!

Ok so first off - I purchased these. It's not a free product review.Second - I'll reevaluate down the line and see how things are.Short version:Great price.*Excellent* sound and bass.ANC took me by surprise with how well it performed.Nice hard shell case.Build quality is acceptable but nothing to write home about.Packaging experience, while completely unnecessary to the end product, could be better.Long version:I have the Life Q10s with the Bass UP feature so I expected these cans to produce at least as good sound and man I was not disappointed. At first, when I opened the box, I thought "awww these don't have Bass UP like the Q10s... that's one of my favorite features." Turns out they don't need to. The bass is rich and thumpy and needs no boosting. And the audio quality is really top notch. Not just "good for the price" but just really damn good overall. Maybe some other super high end headphones will sway me in the future, but for the most part I can't see myself even wanting any more. They're comparable to headphones I've tried at 3 or 4 times the price. The ranges really feel nice and clear.Build wise they're pretty good. These are relatively inexpensive headphones so don't expect premium builds. Mostly plastic. They don't feel like they're going to snap at any second though, so that's good. The ANC. Holy crap haha. At first I thought "well I'll write a review before testing the ANC since I haven't used it yet... and I'll come back to that feature later." Then I took them off and was greeted with the whooshing roar of the air purifier I have going. I was a bit baffled and put them on/off real quick a few times. Turns out the ANC is on by default and works pretty damn well. I mean it was *silent* in there. Not even a muffle. Can't wait to try them tomorrow with my coworkers all around me.They do come with a nice hard shell case which I appreciate for the price. My only real complaint so far (other than the "just ok" build quality) is the boxing/unboxing experience. I recommend this is what lets them make them for a bit cheaper and ultimately it doesn't even matter... but the box doesn't feel like it matches the quality of the headphones. The Q30s are shipped inside the hard shell case and the case is just simply slid into a flimsy cardboard box and that's how it's shipped. It doesn't feel "packaged" if that makes sense. Again not a deal breaker but it does impact the brand experience a little bit.

Excellent Value, Great Sound! Better than XM3

Summary-----------This headphone is an outstanding value. Not sure why would someone spend 300+ to get a Bose or Sony XM3. I Also have an XM3 and i can vouch for this headphone that it sounds the same.Build Quality---------------Its made of plastic (good quality) and the headphone has a metal band and I have a large head and it fits very well. The ear cups are also large enough to completely encapsulate my ears. The soundcore logo is prominent. No Headphone fatigue and it is not too tight and not too loose. Just Right!Charging-----------Finally, Anker came out with Type-C charger and i dont have to carry a micro-usb charger in addition to my phone charger which uses Type-C.I always make sure to charge the headphones to 100% before using, please do so.Pairing-------The headphones comes already in a pairing mode, so just turn it on and connect it to your phone or computer. The Q30 headset is capable of simultaneously connecting to two devices.Battery Life-------------Battery life is rated at 60H without noise cancelling and 40H with noise cancelling. I was not able to test the claim but it really last a long time!!Best part is 5-Min Charge = 4-Hour PlaytimePhone calls-------------I use this phone mainly for conference calls and zoom calls. Love the call quality and non one has ever complained of any issues. The 2 microphones work like a charm.Sound Quality-----------------The sound quality is outstanding, Highs, Mids, Low, all are balanced. i had an opportunity to compare it to soundcore Q20, XM3, Sony WH-XB700., Taotronics Soundsure 85.This thing beats everything except for XM3. I can hear the minute tunes which i was not previously able to hear in WH-XB700, Soundsurge 85 or Q20.Noise cancelling has 3 modes - Indoor, Outdoor and transport. Indoor reduces chatter, outdoor reduces traffic noise and transport is for reducing plane noises.I was able to test indoor mode and works great. True test is on a plane.Soundcore App------------------Everyone who buys this one should download the soundcore app and it lets you change from Normal to NC to Transparency (listen to conversation outside of your headphone). The soundcore app will also make sure your headphone is upto date with the software and will also let you use the equilizers.

Anker Customer service is phenomenal as always

Expected a great experience from Anker but sadly they are still light years behind Sony and Bose. Little things just don’t work like changing the source or the microphones do not pickup voice sounds clearly. Also they are either too tight on your head or simply fall off when you lean back. The ear pads are also not very comfortable and make a very hot sweaty fitUpdate:Bakers customer service as always is great. They recently reached out and offered to send me a replacement unit. I tried it and it also has the same issues. So they sent me another one - this one seems to not have the issue. I don’t know what that says about Ankers quality control but at least they have 5 star customer service and great after sales service . Loving my anker Q30 now

You'd be hard pressed to find better sounding Cans for under $80

I can't rave enough about these headphones.. They hit all the checkboxes for meand Im coming from SurfaceHeadphones2 and Sony1000MX3s :Positives:+ Great Comfort, can wear all day the earpads are fluffy clouds and provide great passive noise isolation+ ANC thats pretty good ... maybe like 85-90% blockage which is great at this pricepoint.+ Transparency mode ... This is such an undervalued feature... But its implemented nicely+ Soundcore App and EQ settings+ The sound is great for all kinds of music+ Fantastic carrying case + Accesories+ 40+ hour battery life+ Multi Pairing ... ( had it paired to my phone and windows machine no problems)+ USB C charging ... THANK YOU!+ Bluetooth 5.0 ... Did not experience latency delays when watching videos+ PriceNegatives:- Not the best for working out... Headphones tend to slip when laying down for BenchPress or Situp.- Plastic build (still looks great though!)- ANC maybe not as good as Bose or Sony- Unable to use it wired and have Bluetooth at same time (this is silly but should be said)Overall These headphones I think are underpriced. These could EASILY go for $130 and I wouldn'thave been surprised but for $80 this is a no-brainer. The Positives far outweight the negatives and I was REALLY reaching to list some negatives as to not be super biased. I will need to break these in for long term review and longevity but so far impressed. This is a winner.-Jexxy
