This is the second HD Doorbell doorbell I bought.Truth be told, I returned the first one. It was a 2K wired version and if you don't know where is your chime transformer or you don't know how to replace it - go straight to this one, and don't forget to buy a 128Gb microSD card for your video recordings. The device is silk and sturdy. Installation is super easy, and all you need is a place next to the door and a screwdriver. The application installation, device registration, and overall install process - all five stars. So far, I'm glad I bought this one, will update my review in the summer with all the night bugs and insects outside (See the flows and night vision screenshot)To summarize scores:- Well-built and good looking device- Super simple installation and config- Good video quality- Human and face detection- Activity zones- Cloud storage is not required but you can sign for the service if you want to.Now to the flaws:- You can set activity zones, and human detection, and it works, no problem with cars, dogs, or elks. Yet take a look at the second screenshot, I got more than 10 of them from the last night. Not sure if you can see that tiny spec, but this is what activates the camera and left a record.- Poor integration with Google and Google Home. If you want it to ring or show you the door - no way. The only you can have is the live video stream from the doorbell camera to your google Home screen. All other solutions are too geeky even for me.- Application quality is ok, but UX is pretty far from it. Just to give you ideas: * When somebody rings the door it shows notifications but doesn't call you. So you need some time to realize that somebody at your door, tap on the notification, open the doorbell view, and only then answer to a visitor. * Recordings on the micro-SD card are available on the phone from anywhere but you can only play/pause it. I found no way how to move the slider to and fro as you do it every day with YouTube.
